This is an artist's rendition of Veterans Reef. The airplane is a Lockheed Neptune which, in its day, was used to hunt submarines. She was sunk on the reef in 43 feet of water on July 1, 2000. She recently has broken up. The tank and truck have not been sunk on the reef yet, but hopefully will be in the near future. The bronze plaque commemorating the reef was put on the reef on Monday, November 13, 2000.
